Sensational Embossing Saturday with SCH.

Good Morning To you.
Today I have a bit of information to share with you before I show you my card.
First the sad news - Tracy has decided to close the Sugar Creek Hollow store effective today and she has put a little note for her followers on the store site, which you can read by clicking here.
But now the good news - we will be keeping the Vintage challenge blog open and will be coming back next week with some exciting vintage challenges.
So on to this weeks challenge, Embossing. Either wet or dry.
I decided to use the image lady's Frock which I printed out three times on 3 different papers. and paper pieced.

The larger square of flower paper is embossed with the Swiss dot folder then sanded. The  two strips have been embossed with the lattice folder. I used a sketch from Paper Take Weekly #55.  I hope you can come join in after you check out the rest of the design teams, last work with SCH.
Thank you for stopping by and I do hope to see you soon on the Challenge blog!

 * Guinness update. Guinness is home and you would never know that he has had some major surgery. He is as  happy and wiggly as ever! He is even eating and it is staying down, we are both very happy about that!  Poor guy is so very hungry. I am so glad he is home and so far doing well.

Guinness update

Just a quick note on Guinness. He came out of surgery okay and is doing well. The vet found out that he did not eat something like we thought. It turns out he has a congenital defect called Pyloric stenosis, which is a narrowing of the pyloric valve in his stomach. This is where the food enters into your intestinal track. So with Guinness having no opening the food had only one way to go and that was up and out and in his case it was twice a day that it happened. He was born this way and as he got older it got worse. The Vet opened up his pyloric valve some more, with surgery,  which should help him a bunch.  I guess I am happier that it this and not that he ate something because I was hearing awful  stories of dogs eating so much stuff  that Vet were unable to do any more for the dog because there was too much scar tissue. How do you train the dog not to eat something on the ground... yes, I know that is a hard one. Thank you for all your well wishes I felt each one I am sure Guinness did too. My sweet boy should be home on Friday evening.

Your so sweet...

Hello, What a week I have had.
I have had to take my sweet little puppy, Guinness,  into the vet because he has been vomiting for a week and a half. He does have a very sensitive stomach, and is on a special diet. After a bout of medications he is still vomiting and not getting much of the meds. So today he went in for a xray and  then on to a 3 hr barium xray.  The results are not the best, this guy ate something and it is stuck in his stomach with who know what else. So say a little prayer for this guy he is headed into surgery on Thursday, to have it removed. I have know idea what it could be, we watch him like a hawk, but puppies are puppies and somehow he ate something that he should not have.
Here he is with my son.
Thanks for listening, I am just devastated, but on the other hand maybe it will solve all of his stomach issues.

On to my card, I made a card today with one of the newer images from Doodle Pantry called Decadent desserts. I picked the banana split image and the saying "your so sweet".

I used a sketch from Woodware USA sketch challenge # 24.

My colors are from  The  Outlawz April 26th color challenge, Magenta, Celery green and pale yellow.
Thanks for stopping by today and listening about my little Guinness.

Childs play

No I am not going to talk about my kids, that is the theme over at the Creative card crew, The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring this challenge.  So I decided to go a little different way.  My kids love science and so I went with the Back to school Chemistry set from TSB.
This is one of my first sets that I purchased from TSB. I thought it would be perfect for a boys birthday card or even a back to school card. My papers are from Jillybean soup called Atomic Soup.
My sketch is from Paper Works Company which I thought would be perfect with this image.
So be sure to stop by the Creative card crew the winner of the challenge gets to pick images from TSB! Thanks for Stopping by and I hope you enjoy your day.

New challenge for TSB.

Happy Tuesday!
Hope you are all doing well.
For today I have a card from The Stamping Boutique, it is for the 4th challenge.

Our inspiration is these colors:
Pink, Purple and Green.

On a whole I don't mind these colors, I just had such a hard time working with them. I think because I didn't have any DP with just these colors in it.
I am happy the way  this turned out. I used a new coloring  technique that I found over at the Color Me Creative Classroom.
The Sketch challenge was from Sweet Sunday Sketch #112
I hope you come join us at The Stamping Boutique for our color challenge.
